FOR NEW STUDENTS
Kids Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ)
Classes are split into two age groups, which allows for age and developmentally appropriate learning activities. Our Kids Martial Arts curriculum is games based, and builds skills in a fun approach that teaches children takedowns, positional control, escapes, transitions, submissions, defenses, and counters. We also incorporate a proven bully-proofing curriculum to give your child the tools to know what to do in a bullying situation, whether they are a bystander, or someone is trying to bully them. Children build life skills with an individual sport while still benefiting from our team environment. Our belt system is in line with the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation’s (IBJJF) promotion system, which ensures the children can compete where they should based on age and experience. This also puts them on pace for the adult ranks when they graduate to the adult classes.

Our striking curriculum is second to none and builds the child’s ability to defend and counter strikes and attacks. Along with all of our kids martial arts programs, The kids martial arts classes also incorporate our values and bully-busting training.
While not a specific kids martial arts program, CrossFit Kids is a unequaled General Physical Preparedness (GPP) program that prepares kids for any sport or physical and mental challenge to include martial arts. Children are introduced to the principles and application of all types of movements and benefit from this wide ranging approach to physical fitness. Classes include skill development, workouts, and health and wellness tie-ins. This class is a great way to introduce or maintain a healthy lifestyle that makes exercise fun, and health a way of life.
